Gliding Pink Beauty - Sad night of Departed souls
Welcome readers to my next post. This review is about the newly launched model of MG Group which I was longing to travel a while a completely unique style of Body maker.
This review is about No1air Travels Coimbatore-Chennai on 05/06/19
Chassis Type: BharatBenz 1623
Body make: MG GliderZ (36 Berths)
Boarding Point: Gandhipuram Office
Dropping Point: Vadapalani Junction
As I reached their office many were waiting for this service in the office. I booked three berths boarded the bus. Came around 10:25PM almost 10mins behind schedule.
Boarded the bus water bottle was provided while getting I felt it was a nice gesture rather than keeping it in our berth. Interesting to see the Completely unique MG Body. Only thing is lower berth almost touches the ground so that window visibility outside is less but not a remarkable issue as there is a space to keep our footwear.USB Type Charging ports were available
Much negative thing to say was less berth length and width because of 36berths. Headroom height was awesome for a watch outside with a small backrest type feature. Took first break 10 minutes in their fuel station in Perundurai toilets were neatly maintained.
As everything was going well woke up in sleep and midnight around 2AM saw our bus was taking reverse in mid of two-way road because of an accident in Kallakurichi. Sad to see hear it was a well-reputed operator whom I know personally. A Pickup van had a slight head-on Collison with the bus. The driver was spotted dead and his body was hanging from the cabin. I can't resist the incident that incident till today I even know him personally. His excellent driving skill has saved 30 passengers onboard including the cleaner whom he pushed out safely seeing that incident from the footage from front camera of the cabin. It was the mistake of pickup vehicle carrying around 20 people in the back he slept and dashed into the bus. The road was full of blood splashed and dead bodies. Tears started rolling out in my eyes after seeing these things. Then boarded on the bus and started our journey

Some Insights I got for this review in Facebook |
Also, the A/C vent is of a new type that we can adjust the speed of Blower unlike the typical way of closing it completely if not needed. Interior make finish was really awesome with nice ambience. Bedsheets and blankets were very neat and curtain style was a really incomparable unique model.
Coming to the driving part it was very calm and sleep-friendly needless to say about BharatBenz Suspension. The steady speed with lane discipline No harsh breaks except few which was needed at the moment. A/C Chillness was maintained around 21C. A Movie was played in Personal Entertainment system but volume was less due to open speakers.

Took Second break-in Ulundurpet Kumbakonam Degree Coffee around 3AM restroom were clean. Driver interchange happened there and he also continued to drive smoothly
Final Part, Passengers were started dropping off from Perungulathur, We reached our dropping point at 7AM. It was on time even though we wasted half an hour in Kallakurichi.
Praiseworthy Aspects:
1) Speed Flow Adjustable vents
2)Well Maintained clean interiors
3)Excellent Punctuality
4)Sedate and controlled sleep-friendly driving
5)Good Suspension
6) Built on AIS-052 Standard (Preference for Safety with all Emergency breakable windows
Shortcomings:
1) Less Berth Height and width
2) Content in the entertainment system needs to get updated
Verdict: Overall a No1 Ride experience with a night of good sleep. One thing I want to say the readers is If you want an outside view try to book in Upper Berth on all MG Built Buses.
Thanks for providing a great service on your 25th Anniversary No1Air team. May you see many more years of success.
